Big Three Gets Help For Win Over Sixers

The Nets got big games from several sources Wednesday night in Philadelphia, and they held off the Sixers for their second straight win. Vince Carter scored 31 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished out 10 assists. Richard Jefferson scored 20 points, grabbed a season-high 16 boards and dished out 5 dimes. Jason Kidd had one of his near triple-double nights with 9, 7 and 9. Nenad Krstic, 16 and 7. Clifford Robinson shot 7 of 12 for 15 points. After the Sixers took a 9-2 lead to start the game, the Nets went on a 17-4 run and led the rest of the way. The Sixers stayed in it, but a 12-0 New Jersey run spanning the third and fourth quarters gave them a 17 point lead. They cruised from there and extended their lead to four games in the Atlantic Division with a 11 point victory.
