While the Nets' principal owner, Bruce Ratner, continues to pursue his Brooklyn mini-city, one of his biggest partners in the franchise, Lewis Katz, has another agenda. He wants to build a slot machine parlor in Philadelphia. Katz, the Nets' former owner who still retains an interest in the team, is said to be assembling investors for a slots parlor on the Philly riverfront. The city could license two such parlors.
