When Bruce Ratner announced plans for a Brooklyn sports arena, he spoke as well about another team joining the Nets in the Frank Gehry-designed facility. Could that other team be the Islanders or failing that, an American Hockey League team? Both were rumored today in separate media reports. The Islanders' owner Charles Wang--who Ratner outbid for the Nets--wants development rights around Nassau Coliseum. If he doesn't get them, he may be tempted by an offer from Brooklyn.
