Zoran Planinic will play another day in Eurobasket 2005, but Nenad Krstic will not. In a day of upsets, France beat Serbia, the tournament favorite, 74-71 while Croatia outgunned Italy, 74-66. Croatia will now play Spain in the quarter-finals Friday. Serbia has been eliminated. Planinic had only 6 points, but Croatia did most of its damage upfront, Mario Kasun and Nikola Vujcic combining for 36 points. Krstic scored 11 points and grabbed 6 boards, but fouled out. ESPN's grading of NBA stars suggests Planinic is doing better than expected with a grade of B-, while Krstic has been somewhat of a disappointment with a C-.
