Croatia, Serbia Win in Blowouts

Zoran Planinic helped key a 30-point turnaround as Croatia beat Turkey, 80-67 Sunday. Planinic had 14 points, 5 assists, and 4 steals, shooting 5 of 8 from the floor, including 2 of 2 beyond the arc. Meanwhile, Nenad Krstic played only 15 minutes in the Serbs' 82-67 blowout of Latvia, scoring 4 points and grabbing 1 rebound. Kristaps Valters, who played for the Nets' 2004 summer league team, led Latvia with 12. On Tuesday, Croatia plays Italy and Serbia France.
