The Nets now have a second and third opinion on Shareef Abdur-Rahim's right knee and await word on at least one more. Although Rod Thorn still won't discuss specifics of the problem, the new assessments have not made him any more optimistic the deal will get done. A final decision is expected Monday. Still, everyone concedes that Abdur-Rahim takes the Nets to another level in the Eastern Conference.
