The Nets have announced that Robert Traylor has failed his physical and will not be joining the team for the 2005-06 season. Traylor had reportedly agreed to a one-year contract worth about $1.6 million. The Nets will now have that amount remaining of their mid-level exception to perhaps acquire more frontline depth.
