Aaron McKie has agreed to a contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. The deal is reportedly for two years and $5 million, nearly five times what the Nets were offering: one year at $1.1 million. The team's focus has now switched to other top guns, among them DerMarr Johnson, Wesley Person, Casey Jacobsen and Jason Kapono. Meanwhile, Robert "Tractor" Traylor has agreed to sign with the Nets, pending a physical exam.
