Nets on Allan Houston's Short List

If the Knicks dump Allan Houston next month under the new "amnesty clause", the Nets are reportedly one of three teams Houston would consider. The Knicks could save $40 million by waiving him. They would have to pay him, but not the league luxury tax. Meanwhile, another classic shooter rumored to be on the Nets' own short list, Jon Barry, says he has not heard from the team.
