Guards Come and Guards Go

Antoine Wright, the Nets' first round draft choice out of Texas A&M, has signed his first NBA contract, Rod Thorn announced today. But Keyon Dooling, the player the Nets targeted as their backup point guard, decided to take a more lucrative offer from the Magic instead. Wright's contract is reportedly worth $7 million over 4 years, with the first two years and $3 million guaranteed. Dooling reportedly signed for 4 years and $11 million.
