The Nets' Rod Thorn and the Blazers' John Nash seemed to dig in their heels yesterday on what Portland would get for helping facilitate a sign-and-trade with Shareef Abdur-Rahim. The Blazers reportedly want the Nets' first round pick in 2007 but the Nets are adamant, saying, "We're not giving up a No. 1." For his part, Abdur-rahim's agent is blaming Portland for the impasse. Meanwhile, the Nets' brass met with second choice Stromile Swift yesterday.
