The Nets' pursuit of Shareef Abdur-Rahim has hit a stumbling block and its name is John Nash. The Nets' former General Manager has told Rod Thorn and other NBA GM's that he wants "draft choices" to facilitate a sign-and trade deal that would send Abdur Rahim elsewhere. The Nets are only willing to part with a second-rounder. With the clock ticking, both sides are looking at alternatives with the Nets going after the Grizzlies' Stromile Swift and Abdur-Rahim talking to the Clippers. And to add yet another element of mystery, Aaron Goodwin, Abdur-Rahim's agent says the Nets may be interested in another of his clients: Damon Stoudamire.
