In an effort to further expedite the construction of a new Nets Arena in Brooklyn, owner Bruce Ratner has promised to help tenants who may be displaced by his Atlantic Yards project. According to the Brooklyn Borough President, Ratner has agreed to find temporary housing for the tenants as well as provide them with moving expenses and ultimately rent-stabilized apartments in new residential buildings he will build. Tenants responded by telling the Borough President, "Put it in writing."
