Nets Keep Rolling

Vince Carter scored a season-high 45 points and Jason Kidd dished out a season-high 17 assists as the Nets cruised past the Celtics for their third straight win at the Meadowlands Saturday afternoon. Carter scored 24 in the first quarter on 9 of 10 shooting, including 5 of 5 from downtown, as the Nets broke out to an 18 point lead. The Celtics closed to within 10 just before the half, but would be as close as they would get, as the Nets led by as many as 27 early in the fourth quarter. Carter shot 18 of 32 for the game, including 7 of 9 from beyond the arc. Nenad Krstic added 17 points and 8 rebounds, and Cliff Robinson came off the bench to contribute 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals.
