The Nets set a team season high for assists with 34 Wednesday night as they beat the Clippers easily at the Meadowlands. Vince Carter led all scorers with 31 points, and Nenad Krstic added 17 on 7 of 9 shooting as the Nets got out running and led from start to finish. After falling behind 20-9 early, the Clippers got to within 3 at the end of the 1st quarter. The Nets then built the lead back up to 14 at halftime, and never led by less than 8 in the second half. Jason Kidd attempted just 4 field goals, but dished out 13 assists. The Nets have now won 7 of their last 9 games, and have once again moved to within 1 1/2 games of the playoffs.
