Hot Carter, Nets Get Big Win in Indiana

The Nets got their fourth straight win with another big 3rd quarter Sunday afternoon in Indiana. Vince Carter and Nenad Krstic combined for 24 of the Nets' 31 points in the 3rd, and they increased their 6 point halftime lead to 12. They built the lead up to 17 early in the 4th, and the Pacers never got to within less than 9 the rest of the way. Carter led all scorers with 39 points on 14 of 25 from the field, including 3 of 4 from beyond the arc. Krstic added 18 points and 6 rebounds, and Jason Kidd chipped in with 14 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. The Nets closed to within 1 1/2 games of the 8th spot in the East with the win.
