The Nets trailed most of the first half and were down 9 with 8 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter Wednesday night. Then Vince Carter got hot and the Nets went on a 23-8 run to take control of the game. The Sixers kept it close the rest of the way, but they never took the lead again, and the Nets went on to win by 6. Carter finished with 32 points (26 in the 2nd half), 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Clifford Robinson 18 points and some lockdown defense off the bench, and Travis Best kept the Nets in the game early with 10 1st quarter points.
