Staying Alive

The Nets kept themselves on the fringe of the playoff race by picking up wins in two of their four road games this week. After splitting their first two games as expected, an atrocious second half in Miami looked like it could be the beginning of the end. They showed that there is still some hope for the season on Sunday however, putting together one of their best games in a while, and turning a 2 point half-time lead into a blowout by the end of the third quarter. Jacque Vaughn was a key component to both wins this week, and Nenad Krstic had one of his most consistently solid weeks of the season.
