The Nets played a solid first half Saturday afternoon, and led by 2 at halftime. They then had one of the worst halves in franchise history, shooting 6-35 and being outscored 53-26 after the break, trailing by 30 at one point, and falling to the Heat by 25. In one 13 minute stretch of the second half, New Jersey shot 1 for 20, and they finished the game shooting just 30% from the field. Dwyane Wade was kept under wraps thanks to some early foul trouble, but the combination of Damon Jones and Eddie Jones killed the Nets from the outside.
