The Nets continue their homestand Wednesday night at the Meadowlands as the struggling Lakers pay a visit to Continental Airlines Arena. The Lakers are trying to stay in the Western Conference playoff picture after the resignation of coach Rudy Tomjanovich, without Kobe Bryant, and in the midst of a 5 game road trip. They have lost their last 3 games, but are holding on to the last playoff spot in the West. The Nets have won 5 straight at home got one of their best wins of the season a week and a half ago in Los Angeles as they're shortened squad beat the much bigger Lakers by 6 at Staples Center.
