Carter and Kidd Lead Nets Again

The Sixers were without Allen Iverson Monday night, but they held an 8 point lead with 5 minutes to play. The Nets came back to force overtime, and then won the game with a 9-0 run in the extra period. Vince Carter had his second straight 40 point game, finishing with 43, adding 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 blocks. Jason Kidd recorded his third triple-double of the season with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 16 assists. Ron Mercer came off the bench to give the Nets a big lift late, scoring all 14 of his points in the 4th quarter and overtime.
