Nets Hold Off Cleveland Comeback

The Nets lost a 20 point 2nd half lead, but never allowed Cleveland to go ahead, and finished the game on a 9-3 run to beat the Cavs Sunday afternoon at Continental Airlines Arena. Vince Carter hit two big shots down the stretch, and Travis Best made the biggest shot of the game, a 3 pointer to give the Nets a 7 point lead with 1:13 left to play. Carter led all scorers with 34 points on 10 of 18 shooting, including 3 of 3 from beyond the arc. Jason Kidd finished 2 rebounds short of another triple-double and Nenad Krstic had another solid game with 15 points.
