What Could Have Been

The Nets came close to a 5-0 homestand, but let two late leads slip out of their grasp this week. Still, they got a key divisional victory against Philadelphia on Monday, and they got some rest for the weary in a blowout over the Nuggets on Sunday. Vince Carter and Jason Kidd continued to show that they are the best backcourt in the NBA. Carter handled most of the scoring load, and Kidd filled in the holes, leading the team in assists and rebounds, while committing just 5 turnovers in the 4 games this week. After a back-to-back this week, the Nets will get 5 full days of rest for the All-Star Break.
