Kenyon Martin got a warm reception from the Meadowlands crowd Sunday night, but the Nets weren't so kind, as they outscored the Nuggets 48-28 in the middle two quarters and cruised to a 15 point victory. Vince Carter led all scorers with 23, and Jason Kidd added 13 points and 8 assists. Both stars were able to get plenty of rest, sitting the entire 4th quarter as the Net bench expanded the lead before Denver finished the game on a 18-7 run. Travis Best and Ron Mercer combined for 22 points off the bench on 11 of 17 shooting.
