Led by Vince Carter's 38 points on 15-21 shooting, the Nets shot 56% from the field, including 8 of 15 from downtown and defeated the Cavaliers Friday night in Cleveland. In addition to his 38 points, Carter added 11 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocks. Richard Jefferson shot 8-9 from the field for 18 points and Jason Kidd added 16 points and 8 assists. The Nets led by as many as 17 points midway through the second quarter. The Cavs took the lead 90-89 midway through the fourth, but a 9-0 Nets run (including 7 points and an assist from Jefferson) put the game away.
