Nets Bounce Back To Beat Bobcats

With a stronger effort and a longer bench, the Nets bounced back from two straight losses to beat the Bobcats in Charlotte Wednesday night. An improved defensive effort held Charlotte to just 38% shooting, and the Nets pushed the ball and kept everyone involved, recording 30 assists on 41 field goals. After a talk with management, Lawrence Frank played 11 players in the first half and was able to keep his stars somewhat rested. Vince Carter got hot early, scoring 10 of his 23 points in the first quarter and Jason Kidd finished two rebounds short of a triple-double. Richard Jefferson added 21 points and 7 rebounds and Nenad Krstic contributed 17 points and 8 boards. It was the 1000th victory in Nets franchise history.
