Dave D'Alessandro, in a halftime interview on WFAN, said the "Nets management had talked to Lawrence (Frank) about the rotation". D'Alessandro, who hinted at such discussions in his blog, said that as a result Frank was playing "everyone" against Charlotte. "Management told him, look, the team would still be 7-9 if you had played the 10th or 11th guy". D'Alessandro told Chris Carrino and Tim Capstraw that the Nets remain interested in Melvin Ely, but don't want to give up a first round pick. Communications remain open.
