With two months gone in the season, the Nets' last few tests have put them back in the front of the class of the Eastern Conference, as graded by Chris Sheridan of ESPN. Sheridan places the Nets after the Pistons, who got an A+, and tied with the Cavs, who the Nets beat Wednesday night. Sheridan quotes Rod Thorn as saying the team has played "much better" recently and Vince Carter has played "brilliantly".
