Two of Bruce Ratner's biggest partners in the Nets are asking the Pennsylvania Gaming Board to let them open "slots palaces" in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. Al Ratner, Bruce's cousin and CEO of Forest City Enterprises, is applying for a license in Pittsburgh. Lewis Katz, the Nets' former principal owner and still a major player in franchise operations, wants a slots palace in Philadelphia. Forest City Enterprises owns 15% of the Nets; Katz an undisclosed percentage.
