Big Three Leads the Way For Seventh Straight

Vince Carter got them started with 9 points in the first quarter. Richard Jefferson scored 11 in the second. When they went cold in the third, it was Jason Kidd who got them going. The Nets stars each had their moment to shine as the Nets topped the Cavs for their seventh straight win Tuesday night at the Meadowlands. The Nets led by as many as 18 points and the Cavs made runs, but New Jersey was always able to hold them at bay, getting key baskets at the end of each of the first three quarters. Jefferson led the way with 28 points on 9 of 11 shooting. Kidd came one rebound and one assist away from a triple-double and despite struggling from the field, Carter finished with 21 points and 9 boards.
