Carter Playing Best Basketball of His Career

When Rod Thorn traded for Vince Carter a year ago, Carter was viewed by many not as "Half-Man, Half-Amazing", but instead as "Half-Vince", a shell of his former greatness, a player nearing his 28th birthday with bad knees and a bad attitude. After all, he was averaging only 15.9 ppg for the Raptors, his worst performance ever. But in the first 82 games of his Nets' career, Carter has not only reverted to his earlier form...by any measure, he has surpassed it.
