Nets Grind Out Fourth Straight Win

It was the second game of a back-to-back for the Nets. They flew in to Orlando late Tuesday night while the Magic had a day to rest. Jason Collins was lost early to an ankle injury. They weren't as sharp as they had been over the last few games. They found a way to win though. The Nets built an early lead and held the Magic at bay for most of the game. Orlando came back and took a one-point lead with 8:23 to go in the game, but the Nets responded by holding the Magic to just 2 of 8 shooting and forcing 6 turnovers down the stretch to take back control of the game and close it out. Lawrence Frank extended his rotation and got key performances from Lamond Murray (11 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals in 27 minutes) and Marc Jackson (9 points and 4 rebounds in 15 minutes). Vince Carter led the Nets with 32 points and 7 rebounds while Richard Jefferson added 18 points and 5 boards.
