New Book on NBA Puts Two Nets in Focus

Harvey Araton, the New York Times basketball writer, talks to Richard Jefferson and about Vince Carter in his new book, "Crashing the Borders: How Basketball Won the World and Lost Its Soul at Home". Jefferson talks to Araton about race and basketball while Carter is the subject of a lengthy discourse on why it's not a good thing to be compared with Michael Jordan. The book is reviewed in Sunday's New York Times Book Review as well as the daily Times' Books of the Times.
