Rod Thorn made a "fact-finding" call to the Indiana Pacers Thursday to discuss Ron Artest, a player who he has described as both a great player and a great risk. Rumors also continued to swirl about a trade for Houston's Stromile Swift, and a new name, Seattle's Vladimir Radmanovic, emerged. Thorn took time out from his cold-calling other GM's to meet with the team, discuss its problems and give a vote of confidence to Coach Lawrence Frank.
