In his blog and audio chat, Dave D'Alessandro gives his impressions of the Nets' loss to the Bobcats, saying the effort was there, but the team is still lacking confidence, heart and leadership. He reports Lawrence Frank's job is safe unless the lack of team effort becomes chronic. The players "like Frank, appreciate his methods" but still, he says, Frank "probably has failed" in making some feel "needed and wanted". He adds a trade will be difficult because of the Nets' salary structure.
