The Nets had never lost to the Charlotte Bobcats. Charlotte had won only five road games in their 1 1/4 year history. The Nets wanted to prove that Tuesday night was a fluke. It didn't matter. A 17-4 run to start the third quarter spurred the Bobcats to a Bobcats to a 91-83 victory at the Meadowlands Wednesday night. New Jersey native Brevin Knight scored a season-high 25 points while dishing out 7 assists and coming up with 5 steals. Emeka Okafor recorded a double-double and added 6 blocks. Lawrence Frank did not play Marc Jackson or Jeff McInnis, and Zoran Planinic was on the inactive list for the first time this season. The Nets have lost four straight games at the Continental Airlines Arena and 5 of 7 overall.
