They're twenty games into the season and the Nets are still searching for answers. The Nets suffered their worst loss of the 2005-06 campaign in Washington Tuesday night. They struggled offensively and, except for the last six minutes of the second quarter, they couldn't stop the Wizards, despite the fact that Gilbert Arenas was not playing. Washington shot 49% from the field (including 8 of 15 from downtown)and outrebounded the Nets 43-30. Vince Carter led the Nets with 14 points, shooting just 5 of 15 from the field. The loss led to talk of trades, but Rod Thorn did everything but shoot down any deal for Ron Artest, noting his character issues.
