Bruce Ratner owns only 7% of the Nets, according to the Cleveland Plain-Dealer. The paper is profiling his company's parent, Forest City Enterprises in a weeklong series. Wednesday's story features FCE's New York operations. Among other Net revelations: the parent company, headquartered in Cleveland, owns twice as much as Ratner and the team lost $13 million in the first six months of this year. As previously reported, Ratner is one of more than 100 investors in the Nets.
