Now, as the controversial plan moves slowly, perhaps inexorbably, toward reality, it is picking up media attention. The Lehrer NewsHour, public television's national news broadcast, featured the project Thursday night in a story that dealt with eminent domain, urban tastes, and the need for more housing, among other things.
