The Nets were able to keep pace with the Kings offensively for 2 1/2 quarters, but they couldn't keep up after that and they could never stop Sacramento on the other end Wednesday night as the Kings came away with a 114-105 victory. The game was tied at 72 with 5 1/2 minutes to go in the third, but the Kings finished the quarter on a 22-6 run to take control of the game. The Nets shot 54% from the field, but Sacramento connected on 32 of 36 trips to the foul line and had three players with 20 or more points. Marc Jackson led the Nets with 21 points and 9 rebounds, shooting 10 of 12 from the field. Vince Carter and Jason Collins each sat out for New Jersey, while Peja Stojakovic did not play for the Kings.
