Bench Still Hurting Nets' D

A statistical analysis of the Nets' first nine games shows that it's not the offense that's the problem and it's not the starters whose defense needs help, either. It's bench defense. Martin Johnson of the New York Sun uses stats like possessions per game and plus/minus averages for individual players to prove that the Nets' second unit will have to step up defensively and soon. The worst defender? He says it's Jeff McInnis. And yes, he does note the recent improvement.
