Vecsey: Carter Trade Fourth Worst in NBA History

How lopsided was the Nets trade for Vince Carter last December? Peter Vecsey thinks it was the fourth worst in NBA history! In his column Friday--after taking the obligatory shots at Isiah Thomas--Vecsey ranks the Carter deal behind only the two trades that moved Wilt Chamberlain and his worst ever, a 1980 Draft Day trade. Golden State sent Kevin McHale, the No. 3 pick in that draft, and Robert Parish to Boston for Joe Barry Carroll, the No. 1, and Rickey Brown.
