Nets Get Back on Track With Win Over Sonics

The Nets fell behind early Tuesday night at the Meadowlands, but they slowly made their way back and took control of the game in the third quarter on their way to a 109-99 victory over the Sonics. New Jersey got a big lift from their bench, specifically Scott Padgett and Jeff McInnis, who combined for 20 points on 8 for 12 shooting, 13 rebounds and five assists. Nenad Krstic led the Nets with 25 points and Richard Jefferson recorded his fifth double-double of the season. The Nets outrebounded the Sonics 47-32 and made 41 trips to the free throw line.
