The Nets could not get anything going offensively Friday night in Indiana, settling for, and not hitting perimeter jumpers while the Pacers had their way on the other end. The Pacers led by as many as 27 points after a scorching hot third quarter and they shot 52% from the field for the game. Once the game was out of hand, Lawrence Frank sat his starters for most of the second half. Ron Artest led all scorers with 30 points and former Net Anthony Johnson scored 19 on 7 of 8 shooting. Vince Carter led the Nets with 18 points on 8 of 13 from the field. Jason Collins sat out with a lower leg injury and Clifford Robinson stayed home to be with his wife as she returned from the hospital with their twins.
