Krstic Among Top Candidates for Most Improved Award

Nenad Krstic was the only Net to get any votes in ESPN's annual preseason awards poll. Sixteen writers cast votes on who they think will get the MVP, Rookie-of-the-Year, Most Improved Player, etc. this season. Krstic got two votes for Most Improved Player, one from Ric Bucher and the other from Marc Stein. The only player to get more than two votes was the Suns' James Jones who averaged 16.6 ppg in the preseason. He picked up three votes. The Clips' Shaun Livingston also received two votes.
