Jason Collins will try out his surgically repaired knee on Sunday to see if it can withstand the rigors of an NBA game. Both he and Nets coach Lawrence Frank realize how important Collins is to the Nets defense, which Frank recently described as "very poor".
Meanwhile, Jason Kidd and possibly Vince Carter may be on the sidelines tonight in the team's final preseason game, against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. The game will be televised on ESPN.
