Ratner Plans Face New Call for Downsizing

Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz again called on Nets owner Bruce Ratner to downsize his plan for a mini-city in Brooklyn. Markowitz has been Ratner's biggest supporter and the developer is expected to at least make a token reduction in the size of the project. The Nets' new arena, expected to be the most expensive in the country at a half billion dollars, will not be effected by any downsizing.
