Lawrence Frank is not happy with how his team has been playing defense in the preseason. Jason Collins' absence is certainly one reason for it, but it starts with containing the dribble and keeping the ball out of the paint. Jason Kidd did not participate in practice Wednesday and he's not sure about playing on Friday, but he is not concerned about his bruised quad.
