The Nets led the Raptors by 14 points with less than six minutes to go Wednesday night, but the bench lost another lead and couldn't come up with a big basket down the stretch as they lost 107-105 in overtime. Vince Carter, who suffered the usual slings and arrows from Toronto fans, and Marc Jackson each scored 20 points for New Jersey. Jason Kidd approached a triple-double in just 23 minutes of action, finishing with 5 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists.
