Game 30 - Nets @ Wizards - Tuesday, January 4, 7:00 PM

The Nets continue their road trip Tuesday as they travel to Washington to take on the Wizards. With just two wins over teams with winning records this season, the Nets will look to follow up Saturday's victory in New York with another signature win over the talented Wizards. After a hot start, Washington has lost 4 of its last 6 games, but they have handled the Nets fairly easily in their previous two meetings. The Nets will need to find a way to slow down the dangerous trio of Antawn Jamison, Gilbert Arenas and Larry Hughes, who are all averaging more than 20 points per game this season. Jamison has been a tough matchup for Jason Collins at the power forward spot, so we may see some of the Nets lineup with Richard Jefferson, Rodney Buford and Vince Carter on the floor together, with Jefferson matching up with Jamison, who does more damage on the outside than on the low blocks. On the other end of the floor, the Nets will continue to add sets back to their motion offense with Vince Carter aboard. With the release of Jerome Moiso, and Brian Scalabrine reportedly still out with a hamstring injury, the Nets will likely be back down to 10 active bodies for Tuesday's game.
